@@kihbear7585 hulk is nothing like dva aside from the fact he can transform, which is an inherent part of the hero. the only argument for similarities you can make is possibly hanzo and hawkeye have very similar kits. other than that, i would say alot of characters in rivals actually draw inspiration from other hero-pvp games, like i find a lot of characters kits to be more reminiscent of LoL champions than resembling overwatch heroes

Some of them are good but lets not pretend that half of those guys will be high rank too next year when they aren't ahead of the curve. There was a turreting punisher in that lobby. Thats below silver level of game sense. That guy has a 200 dps shotgun but uses a 150 dps turret.

So far, Mantis, Luna snow, Doctor strange and Hela are clear meta picks while everyone else is absolutely still viable. The ONLY and I mean ONLY character I haven't seen in high lobbies is Captain America. I've seen lots of Hulk, Rocket, Wolverines, Thor and even Iron man in high ranks. Captain America? Not once. Quick play? Sure, but ranked? Naw. I play diamond lobbies. He's hidden better than Waldo

I understand why people are confused about this match. The game is too new, atm plat 1 is above 98,15% of total population, meaning that from plat1 to eternity you’re already in the top 2% of ppl. In diamond you already get matched with ppl who have GM mechanics but simply they didn’t grind the game enough since again, its too new, so you get also some people who feed too much etc. Comparing it to gold tho its mental insanity. The difference between gold and diamond is big like a galaxy

Jay finally understand what difference beetwin gamesense and boost . Yeap , in a top server lobbys = First dps focus = tank .. nah ... nah am sorry but nah ... Focus tank = Ult charge for healers , less ult charge for u , more ult charge for tank too . Cuz tank have time to dash on u , get healed , punch u 3/4 time , then back up . Healer have time to heal the tank , hide them self , get 40 /50 % ult charge on one fight .. and when u awaken enough to understand it , u say to some streamers " i can do the same " ... and , they not awaken , they say "proof it " :X nah me , am not stil able to make what u do jay , u a good dps , am 30 yo . Buuuut ... yeah am pretty sure u already know what am saying . Am 99.9 % sure of this guy is A top streamer OR Making vidéo with marvel rivals help to make it !!! It make tone of sense . One big aspect I like about no forced role lock is that, even though 2-2-2 is best, you have the ability to swap to an extra of any role. That is, in the few instances it might be necessary.

Insanely uneventful game, probably felt like he went nuclear since he got rank 1 on that one. Enemy team pretty much ignoring him the entire game, watching people hide behind walls when he is hela ulting and they can literally see him because of 3rd person perspective is just embarrassing. Everyone seems to just sit on one character and never swap even if they lose and just go next.

I'm just gonna say it, No hate to those saying it, but If youre in high Elo, you kinda have no right stating "look, everyone in this top 500 lobby has picked 222 so role queue isnt needed" Yes because people in high Elo's aren't stupid selfish arseholes. Plus, its impossible to get to those Elo's unless team comps are sensible. But for all the Normies trying to get out of B,S&G, im sorry to say it, Role queue IS needed. 99% of people that play these games aren't absolute gods, aren't possessing the ability to solo carry the whole team. I LOVE everything about rivals, but have given up on comp, for this reason. Literally EVERY game in comp at those levels is 4 DPS refusing to switch and just throwing. More chance of a decent team comp in QP I understand from Streamers and high elo players it doesn't seem like the biggest issue in the world. But you aren't experiencing the same game as everyone else. You're getting matched with people who understand if your selfish with picks you just simply arent going to win

Role queue isn't needed either you are good enough in those ranks to carry on dps or you can fill and be good enough at filling to climb. People just have ego's and instalock dps. Dps is usually the mechanically hardest role on top of more people wanting to play it so more competition which also means players at a higher level of that role. Like you said 99% of people are not absolute gods and can't carry so they need to be good at filling to climb and drop the ego.
