There are a lot of cases similar to domestic violence in which one case which came to all Malayalees mind while watching the scene of Jaya calling her parents is the case of Vismaya..She studied BAMS and her hus is a government employee.. Motor Vehicle Inspector I think.. They were given a huge amount of dowry imcluding a car.. She was beaten up by her husband just because he didnt like the car.. You will get the audio clips of similar calls in which she cries and says she is afraid of him.. Nobody cared and she finally commited suicide..
