when it comes to this their rivalry is like poetry: The 2 GOATS, one is a magician and the other is a machine. It gives me chills how everything came together. They both played for the best teams at the moment and the fit their style perfectly. Real madrid has always been feared because of their counter attacks which required power, preccision and speed. On the other hand Barcelona with the perfect tiki taka and team work which requires a perfect understanding of the game and the team mates. Everything matched so perfectly the players and the teams they played for.

The 91 goals also counts the goals in international games. At the ballon dor they count the goals in the league, national cup and the champions league but not for the national team. Europe's top goals scored and assists...it's all about club football. Correct me if I'm wrong. But I know for sure that the 91 goals includes also international goals.

I'm from Barça to death and since I was little I have seen these two beasts being the best in the world every day, taking their clubs to the top, competing for individual trophies and occupying covers every time they played a game. It is without a doubt the best rivalry that is going to be in the history of sports in general. One in Barça and the other in Madrid, one in the best club of this century (Barça) and the other in the best club in history (Madrid), one wearing the mythical number 10 that has been worn by players like Maradona or Pelé and the other on 7 that other players like Raúl, Villa and the greatest forwards in history have taken. 11 golden balls between the two, 10 golden boots, 9 champions, etc ... Between the two. CR7 is criticized saying that he only scores penalty goals and Messi is criticized for not appearing in great moments (both are a lie), they are the best and being the best they have a lot of criticism from one to the other. When people talk about the differences of each one, it makes me angry because they look for defects in one to praise the other. For me, the difference is this: Cristiano is the best spiker I've seen in my life, a ball that comes to him, a ball that is a goal, he has a lot of mental strength and is an unusual athlete, but Messi is more talented, I I explain: Messi has more dribbling, more passing, he knows how to control the game and he also has a goal. For me, CR7 is a better spiker and Messi is a better player. They're both the best I've ever seen and I doubt we'll ever see anything like it in our lives. Yeah the Barcelona Man United game was the 2009 Champions League Final but it wasn't the first time they met, they actually came up against eachother in the previous season, 2007/08, in the Champions League semi-final stage which United won 1-0 over the course of the two games (aggregate). Maybe they met before that but I don't think so. But yeah Ronaldo did leave United in the summer following the UCL final for Madrid. I mean he left because it's Real Madrid but the added bonus of playing against your main rival both as a player and as a club (Madrid and Barcelona hate eachother) then that would've definitely motivated him to move there.
