I’ve been watching zlatan since Ajax and it amazes me how good he is. At this age he’s not the dynamic player he use to be but he’s so smart. Watching him pla today feels like a privilege because he can still game even tho he’s not the player he use to As for him gaining fame, he was always good but I feel like when he left Juventino for Inter he started gaining notoriety… and becoming more of the zlatan we knew today where it was almost like he loved being a villain lol

Yeah, Zlatan was at Barca. Apparently Messi felt threatened at that time and managed to get him kicked out of the team (and also Zlatan and Pep so didn't work out). The current AC Milan is an interesting side, it's kind of made up of "rejects" , few quite old players and a lot of really young players who haven't found their footing yet if you so will, who are growing into their roles and are still developing so you don't really have classic big names there. I suppose next to Ibra the biggest names are probably Giroud (French striker) and Kjaer (Danish defender, captain of the Denmark squad and the guy famous for saving a life at this year's Euros). There was Donnaruma once but he left so... From the other young talents Tonali is probably the most hyped one, Leao is generally seen as a player with lots of potential, Tomori has been an excellent defender and Theo Hernandez seems on his way to establish himself as one of the best LBs in the world. The keeper, Maignan, they got in exchange for Donnaruma is excellent, too. I personally quite like Brahim Diaz, who is there on loan from Madrid, two-footed little dribbler (his style looks a bit Messi-esque). Zlatan dubbed him "mini-me" once. 😅😂 His potential is kind of argued about but he's quite fun to watch when he's on his game, I think. All in all when they have almost their full squad avaiable and healthy (weren't lucky in that regard recently) they are a fun, dynamic side to watch.

Yes what you told is right but Messi didn't tell the management to kick zlatan out. It was because of his fight with pep. If Messi wanted to do that then why would he had sacrificed his hat-trick to get Ibra a goal during a match and Ibra would've known it and he would have not been quiet and he respects messi a lot.
@glasseskoala74222 жыл бұрын
@@prayashranjanmallick3943 He didn't tell him to kick him out, but there is this whole story of Messi essentially guilt-tripping Pep into moving him more centrally while Zlatan did well. I do think so that Pep being passive-aggressive around Ibra after being confronted about his role in the team was the bigger issue, though, since Ibra always said it makes sense to build the team around Messi. He seems to be a lot more bitter about Pep than about Messi anyways.
@Dragon9Nexus2 жыл бұрын
Not even mentioning Rebić? You know a guy that was crutial for Croatia playing the world cup final.. what a fail of a comment, especially if considering "rejects" ppl like Hernandez, a guy that Maldini (the best ever in his role) wanted to have where he once played..

He "earned" his name at Juventus in 2005 when he won Player of the Year as they won Serie A. When he went to AC Milan in 2010 some were actually saying his peak was already past him as his Barca move didn't really work and he was almost 29. As for being the oldest legend still playing, he is the oldest player that plays at that level yes but not the oldest overall. Buffon is older but he plays for Parma, there is also a japanese player who is around 50 I think.
@Dragon9Nexus2 жыл бұрын
Buffon is a GK, a lot easier to play at an older age there. Same as in Japan. No player, as far as I can remember ever had a crucial role at 40yo in one of the top 5 leagues playing in the champions league and in a team that is a league title contender..
@yunada42772 жыл бұрын
@@Dragon9Nexus Giggs, Maldini, Totti, Costacurta (not a crucial role though), there are some others I’m forgetting right now but there are a few examples. Then you obviously have a bunch that have played at the top until 38 or 39 like Del Piero, Scholes, Kahn, Inzaghi etc.
@yunada42772 жыл бұрын
I guess for Totti you could say they weren’t really title contenders since it was during the Juve dominance but they were in the UCL
@Dragon9Nexus2 жыл бұрын
@@yunada4277 again a GK up there, Totti playesld in the CL when he wasn't even 39 (holds the record for oldest scorer at 38.5), while none of the others played after 40.. while Zlatan will most likely play another season after this one.
@yunada42772 жыл бұрын
@@Dragon9Nexus Giggs retired at 41, he turned 40 the previous season when they won the prem and was still in the UCL. Totti retired at 41 too, he played in the UCL when he was 40 as well, yes he didn’t score that year but he still played in the UCL. Yes, I am aware Kahn is a GK but I didn’t mention him in the players that played after 40. Maldini also retired at 41, and also played in the UCL in both of his last two seasons. Costacurta as I said was not a crucial player in his later years (only played 33 games in his last two seasons), but he even won the UCL at 41.

Sof was right about when he earned his name. Zlatan was good since ajax days, but he became ZLATAN around 25, when he signed for Inter Milan. And yeah Jay he played in Barca during the 2010/11 campaing. Barca and Inter made a deal and exchanged Eto'o with Ibra. Eto'o had just won the Champions League with Barca in 2009, then won again with Inter in 2010. Ibra's time at Barca wasn't that good cus he didn't get along AT ALL with Pep Guardiola, he didn't have bad numbers at all tho, was still ibra, i think he played like 42 games and scored 21 goals that season, but he ended up leaving cus of Pep.

But you cant teach someone how Zlatan scores and how to be consistent with it.
