Thanks for sharing the easy method. Placing the besan batter on dosa tawa ia new idea. Very simple and the dish with pudina came out well. I added coconut milk finally and it gave yummy taste..

Very sensible recipe! My grandmother used to deep fry the big vada just the size of URS, but thicker , in oil. Just to avoid vada from soaking in oil she used to make the thick big vada. Maybe that was the recipe in those times.she was such a great cook. URS is similar to it.she is a chennaite .
