Thanks for your excellent explanation doctor. During urine infection 3 years back my psa value went upto 28.5. scan confirm cancer but biopsy came negative and i took dutasteriod medicine as per urologist priscription. After that my psa value becomes 1.

For Prostate surgery, two methods are there. 1) TURP - Trans-Uthral Resection of Prostate. A procedure by which, a micro ascissors is inserted through the penis and the growth tissues are cut out. This is painful and needs minimum 7 days hosptalization. 2) HOLEP - holmium Lazer Enucliation of Prostate, a painless procedure requiring just 2 days hospitalization, costing Rs. 1.30 lakhs, available in Bangalore. Eg. Fortis Hospital.
