She literally is. What Kayle sits melee on an enemy? The whole point of her kit is to kite and avoid damage while dealing it back constantly.

By that rule you would then classify half of the top lane as ranged. Mordekaiser, Malphite, Chogath, Camille, Illaoi, Nasus, Pantheon, etc. They all have spells with considerable range that they can spam from mid game onwards.

No…no. Just no. We’ve had these discussions countless times and every time people claiming aatrox is ranged have wallclock IQ takes. The only champ i can think of that has ambiguity on being ranged is thresh since he has quite the range on his melee attacks.
