I keep telling people there's great music out there for sure.. Where to find it I don't quite know. Guess we've found one place. I heard about this song that went viral and I here I am now a few songs and artists later. Great to find something new, something I can enjoy, something that speaks to me and something that represents the reality I see.

Devils waitress took my order And she brought my sins to me Watching a sinner getting older As the roots growing slowly wrapped around my feet So won't you bring me a glass of your finest misery I'll show it ain't that bad Chase it down with a glass of whiskey Oh and watching me drown, only made it all the more sad I could run away and never come back I can't get up, I just keep getting down bad. I can't hold another lover in these hands Oh it scares me half to death to think you really know this man This liquor river is pushing me further Down and away from all my friends In the end it hurt to hurt her She knew too much to ever let her know again So wontcha bring me a glass of your finest misery and I'll show you it ain't that bad. I'll chase it down with a shot of whiskey Oh and watching me drown only made it all the more sad I could run away and never come back I can't get up, I just keep getting down bad I can't hold another lover in these hands Oh it scares me half to death to think you really know this man

@invictusbp1prop143

Maybe. But he ain’t lived an uncomfortable night, never woke up on the concrete floor of a county jail holding tank, sings about ordering another shot when I don’t think he’s ever drank a shot of anything n damn sure hasn’t encountered the devil yet…and doesn’t know what it’s like to drown in the shit you put around you, and doesn’t seem to have ever had one lover in those soft smooth fragile hands, let alone another one that he shouldn’t. Just don’t buy it. And it seems like he’s trying too damn hard. From the opening guitar work that sounds like he was trying to win a bet against a bunch of emo kids on who could sound more angsty. Then, good gawd man, he’s facing every negative that a protagonist anti-hero with a deep, dark soul and tortured heart can face, all at once. Save a few cliches for the next album, son. You used up the subject matter for a dozen songs there all in one song. One dark song per album, man. Deal with the woman and the cheating in one song…. Take on the devil and the whiskey in another. Commit a heinous crime in a bonus track and deal with the consequences in the next album…. Struggle with emptiness and all you’ve done and growing old in a two part album if you want. But ya can’t shove all that hard livin into one song…. Not unless you’re David Allan Coe. And this kid doesn’t even shave more than once a month yet. Can’t sing songs about a hard life or hard time without it sounding fake, but at least keep em a little more realistic and make one about going around holding onto DAC’s pocket in prison. Call it jelly or syrup…. Sit down n write songs about something you know about…something that matters to you…write about what you love. Or what you hate. But don’t try to jump into a space that ya think is cool and sells good for certain artists. It sells for them because you can feel the pain in their soul when they sing about their addictions and loved ones lost and the empty feeling of being on the road and the feeling in your gut when you know the ol lady is back home letting some other dude carry your son to bed at night…. But if you don’t know that feeling in your gut, you can’t sing about it because it’ll sound like you’re singing about something you heard how somebody else felt and who the hell cares about that?

Jayce and Jake Kohn are two of the best performers I think I've come across on your page. Both have such an absolutely beautiful gift, yet they are so demure in how they perform and so blissfully unaware of just how legendary they already are that it's really quite inspiring. They don't need flashy actions or extremely vivid note fluctuations. Their lyrics and smooth soulful voices are what are going to carry them into being named the greatest of the upcoming generations! Thank you so much for sharing their gifts on your platform and a huge thanks to artists like them for sharing their talent with us! I am so excited to see where Jayce goes from here!!
