Great content on your channel. If you’re back in San Miguel check out this restaurant called El Barrilito.. their shrimp ceviche, chicharrones, pupusas & Micheladas were great there. You can either sit outside with the lively music or in their air conditioned room which is much more quiet.

The men were asking you if you spoke garifuna which is a language spoken in the North Coast of Nicaragua. As I understand lots of black people escaped slavery from islands in the Carebbean Sea and they ended up living in those areas. Later on, they also had contact with the British and that is why this language has also been influenced by the English language. Remember that Belize used to be a colony of the Crown.
