Love some of the mods - definitely keen on Red diverter, we're getting our van shortly and was looking at that or shower miser which sounds similar but only for shower. Hey mate just be careful adding fly screen on your vents as5601.2 ventilation for caravans do have a clause for adding fly mesh on vents, you should be okay but just a heads up if you’re trying to sell it

Hey Guys. We are looking at buying the 17.58-3 tourer. Just concernded about our prado. What year and prado are you driving? also Manual or auto? We have a 2011 prado standard and worry about the gear change from 4th to 5th going back and forth or just sorta getting stuck in 4th?. We have a 15.48-6 and we only get into 5th on flat straits and the 17.58-3 is an extra 350kg and we worry that will be just too much for the prado? appreciate your response :)

Hey. We had 2019 prado with the auto. It had a 3t towing capacity, and it did the job. No worries on highways, but on hill climbs and ranges, it did struggle a little. I always drove in manual mode and had it in 5th gear most of the time. Hill climbs I would drop it to 4th gear. My advice would be to spend the extra and get the outback. They are a great little van for holidays and shorter trips. Enjoy your new van and thanks for watching 😀.

Thank you for watching! The van is a secret at the moment, but is a full size 22ft. We are waiting for a new 79 series Landcruiser that will be having all the works to it 😊 I really love our Prado, I wish we could keep it but we need the extra capabilities the new car will have. We found the Prado really struggles when full and travelling along mountain ranges.

We have the Kakadu, so we can't upgrade our suspension. Unfortunately, we can't make any changes to increase its towing capabilities

We tapped into the small reading light on the other side of the door. We have tucked the wire under the top edge of the door panel so it's hidden and then it goes back into the top cupboard.

No nothing, it's stock standard from factory 😊 The new Prados have a higher towing capacity than the older models.
