I think I'll embroider a smowflake, Christmas tree, or other decoration along with the name of recipient and year. Then they can use it as a tree ornament next year.

Tiffany Boncek glad to share. I'm big into multitasking. Or multisourcing. I used to make counted cross stitch ornaments as gifttags for all the kids. That way when our kids, the nieces and nephews moved out their first Christmas tree wasn't bare. It's 15-20 years now and they still all use them. And one niece has continued the tradition.
@bluemoon57666 жыл бұрын
@@lindaschultz7253 that's so sweet we do handmade ornaments around here too i have done a tiny bit of cross stitch like 4 projects and I love it but I have tiny humans around and I get scared they r gunna run over to me and poke themselves but do love that idea too
@lindaschultz72536 жыл бұрын
Tiffany Boncek familiar with that issue.☺ Now I'm dealing with four cats. It was five but we had to put my Teddy Kitty named Squirrel to sleep last month. He'd been fighting cancer and lost the battle.😢

Jayda, If you have alot of Relatives...I'd suggest keeping track of which tag color belongs to which person . Could get confusing especially with all the hustle and bustle around the holidays. Plus if you wrap as you go or purchase early, you are apt to forget your "TAG COLOR" system. Keep it well hidden in your cell. Under a grocery list lol

Hi Anita, yup, we call it the "Master List" :) And it stays outta sight until the big day!

@JaydaInStitches6 жыл бұрын
LOL, hey, there's nothing wrong with that, you can keep crocheting left handed if you find it comfortable (or familiar). Here's a handy hack for watching tutorials you might find helpful : kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHbbhneXmceesMU

@ChelleShellCrochet6 жыл бұрын
The notification issue has nothing to do with membership. I have joined & recently did not get a couple of notifications. They are working again now though so hopefully yours will too. 😄
@JaydaInStitches6 жыл бұрын
Hi Marlene! KZbin has been working on their notification system for ages, they keep messing around with it, so that might have something to do with it. Be sure to check your KZbin settings (in the notification area) and make sure you've got it set the way you want to, there's actually a lot in there you can tinker around with :) We had to recently change ours too because of all the updates!
@johneyjohnson30425 жыл бұрын
OK if you making the crochet name tag how to do the crochet name on a name tag please
@JaydaInStitches5 жыл бұрын
Hi Johney, you can do a few things: 1) colour coordinate them - so each person gets tags that are their colour only (ie. blue for dad, red for mom, yellow for sister etc). 2) Sew on appliques or patches that are unique to the person getting them or 3) embroidery! You can embroider names on the tags using floss or yarn and a yarn needle :) You can also make it simple by just adding their initials :)
