I disagree. I don't think Nicki was in her head about Cardi, I think Nicki more so felt some type of way that ALL of NY radio, and the hip hop culture that she worked so hard to be respected in was really up in arms together trying to get her up outta here over shit that they compliment other artists for doing in the same breath. Nicki is literally the only rap artist that gets hate for shit that other artists are being praised for. Hip hop can't accuse Nicki Minaj of having ghostwriters with no evidence, but then in the same sentence applaud ALL of these new IG and social media personalities who has no respect for the craft, and proudly has ghostwriters. The main thing I'm trying to get at is, Nicki really stayed true all this time and said she wanted female rappers to be able to write their own raps, be independent, and not have a male speak for them, and in under one year, the female rapper has become a joke again. Nicki is cut from a different cloth, and we won't see genuine artists like her anymore because of this clout-chasing culture, and new hip hop culture where popularity trumps talent.
