Not smoking the kool-aid, but the Lions have trouble against mobile QB's and that goes back to before they put half of their team on IR. It's a tough matchup and I'm really rooting for anyone other than the Chiefs or Eagles to win it all, but you keep an explosive offense like the Lions under control by playing ball control which is what the Commanders do as good as anyone. And if you take away a bad snap on an extra point there is a good chance that they walk into the playoffs 13-4 which I think gets you a little more respect.

Add the Steelers game to that list. Commanders got hosed late with a no call clear PI on a pass to Noah Brown. Then the Zach Ertz 4th down ball placement play. Those happened on back-to-back plays 3/4th down Loss 27-28. These weren't typical "everyone can say that" type of plays. The PI was very obvious, disrupted the entire play.

I think you guys are missing the point. Washington plays ball control through the quick passing game and never punts. So it's not actually about DEFENSE, it's about situational football at the end of the game. So 36-30 game. Could go either way.

Would John Harbaugh take the ball out of Lamar Jackson/Derrick Henry's hands? Would Dan Campbell take the ball out of Jaren Goff/Jahmyr Gibbs hands?
