Before people make excuses. Just be happy for him. He threw 5 touchdowns versus the best defense in football. One of the picks he threw was tipped and slightly off target but guess what. Smith drops the pass and after that people shoudve known how jayden daniels is in the clutch. Jalen Hurts injury did play effect on this game but people forget that the 1st matchup between jayden and hurts was jaydens ribs were still severely hurt. So this is literally full circle of events. Hurts had 11 yards in the 1st quarter and the rest of the eagles touchdowns after the 7-0 start was all pickett. No one truly knows how this game wouldve went with hurts. Also jayden only really has terry and dyami brown as his best targets and maybe luke. Pickett still had barkley, AJ, Smith and Jahan. That false start can be called on any team too. Are we forgetting the 2 invalid lattimore penalties? Anyways Thats my analysis on all of this.
@gabrielbobowski776721 сағат бұрын
Yeah I mean to be honest they didn't need Hurts to win, they just need the receivers to not drop balls that would have iced the game. The loss is really on the receivers, not Pickett, Hurts, etc. Jayden played great, I think you can say that it effected the amount of times he had the ball but it's still the number 1 defense. That kid is balling out.

Dude u commie fans are ridiculous its not excuses. You won against a back up qb and thats not even remotely close to having a bruised rib jalen hurts played with a bad knee half of 2023. Yea be happy u won against the eagles practice squad. And scoring touchdowns against CJGj’s back up after he was removed for no reason. Yea stfu

I'm a Washington fan and am excited for the future....it's been a long time since I've said that about Wash lol. I think there will be a whole lot more interest in big name receivers and playmakers in general wanting to come play with Jayden Daniel's. For this management group and coaches group to take a 4 win team to double digit wins in a year is amazing. Hard not to be skeptical about if this will last or not though given the history of this team, thank god we have new owners though and top brass.

Don't remind me. As a depressed Giants fan, I was hoping and praying that somehow Maye would go ahead of Daniels and that the Giants would offer up a king's ransom to trade up to pick 3 w/ the Patriots to snag him. That was the dream scenario lol. I just loved everything I saw this kid do in college. Loved his arm talent, loved his mobility, felt like he could be the kind of player who could elevate players around him, even if the talent at receiver was mediocre. Of the 3 QBs at the top of the class, I felt like he was the one most likely to succeed without needing a specific system tailored to his skillset. I like how he reads the defense, goes through his progressions, he has a deceptively big arm for a guy of his frame. He has a beautiful deep ball and a quick release. He's Lamar-esque with his ability to scramble and evade tackles. All the hype was around Caleb Williams and his "Mahomes like" play at USC... but for me I always thought Jayden was QB1 and more likely to hit in the NFL. Now that's playing out and the Bears QB curse may be continuing on because I just haven't been impressed at all with Caleb's rookie season despite the fact he has 2 great receivers and a great tight end in Cole Kmet. I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt because their o-line is just not good and the coaching carousel over there isn't gonna help him either. The only real questions or concerns I had about Daniels was his slender physique and wondering if he was gonna be injury prone at the NFL level, especially since he finds himself scrambling often and took some big hits at LSU. Instead, now the Giants are drafting #1 this year with a much more questionable QB class, in desperate need of a QB, and the one division rival that we usually were able to beat every year just got their franchise QB who will likely be in top 5 consideration within the next 2-3 years. Oh well, at least as a New Yorker I still have Buffalo to cheer for and not feel embarrassed doing so lol.
