Ksenia Buzina is a once in a lifetime singer. She absolutely nails everything she sings. Lead or backup it don't matter. I saw them live in Columbus Ohio and was blown away!!! If you haven't already, check out Speck of Dust her own tune with Leonid & Friends. You will love them live.

I fell across Ksenia Buzina a few years ago, the Lady can sing her version on superstar is the best cover I've ever seen and I've seen a few she is note perfect, why she's not a star is beyond me, she could give Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry singing lessons, not hard on the eyes either a Class act

She has a genuine presentation. She exudes class, elegance and possesses luxuriant beauty. Add to that a silky and vibrant voice. I've wondered too why her star hasn't risen. Perhaps she wants to remain as and where she is. That has been my thought.

Yes, I'm glad you mentioned Basia! There is definitely a resemblance between Ksenia and her. What really blows me away is how they always seem to have the perfect voice for whatever song they want to perform, and other than the big dude who covers "Vehicle", there isn't a trace of their native tongue. Have you heard Ksenia's rendition of the Carpenters classic, "Superstar"? Unreal, it's just so beautiful!

It didn't dawn on me at first. I kept listening to Ksenia. It finally came to me that she sounded like Basia. I have heard her sing the Carpenters classic, "Superstar". And as you said... beautiful. I plan on doing a video of that in the very near future.

Leonid started this project as a Chicago cover band. He couldn't get sheet music, so he hand-transcribed their songs, and their covers are , arguably, better than the originals. Then they started branching out: EWF, The Carpenters, Dionne Warwick, Steely Dan, etc. They are so precise with the lyrics that you forget that English is not their first language. Ksenia is magnificent, as always. She has an exceptional voice (look up her rendition of "Killing Me Softly" and tell me I'm wrong). Doesn't hurt that she is also beautiful.

Man, oh man! She and the entire ensemble definitely does complete justice to this heart lifting classic. I don’t quite think they OWN IT, like Whitney owns Dollie Parton’s country love ballad, BUT Leonid et al do a masterful job with it. Great sound IF this is a studio live recording, tight band, good rhythm and flowing, good with the changed sections arrangements. They would all pass as session musician for sure, you can't get this tight without lots of experience and actually playing for years. I would say if they can play this live they are above standard period. You can't get much better than actually seeing Chaka & Rufus play live. The trouble is we are comparing the well produced record of Chaka & Rufus with this live recording. I heard Chaka Khan sing this year in London and that baby still has the bellows to blow your socks off, it was only let down by quite poor delivery of the Orchestra (terrible string arrangements sections and a few others). But the rest of the band were nice and tight👍. Chaka could have of sung without any backing at it and it would have been great♥. What a lady!. But this band is just as good or better. period.

Well, Leonid & Friends do covers, and do them very well. Ksenia is part of L&F, so I would imagine that she thoroughly enjoys singing someone else's music. From what I can see, she enjoys it, as does every musician in L&F. 😊
