I first found out about Luis Miguel while watching the movie Speechless in the early 90s and although I didn’t know Spanish I was amazed at his voice. Fast forward to today, I have 10+ albums of his, saw him in concert thrice, and my wife and I will be seeing him every time he comes back to Dallas now that we live here. Luis Miguel is without a doubt my favorite singer!! Thanks for the react vid and please do more of LuisMi!! But, he recently authorized a series on Netflix about his life and we are now learning and understanding why he is the way he is. Luis Miguel is perhaps the last of legendary singers. I mean, the 80's brought a lot of singers but not many or none besides him reached the old style of idol like the singers form the 60's, 70's that still remain as role models in these talent shows so popular today. I think his choice to stop singing pop and going for old style music helped him to achieve that.

This man is a LEGEND. He was actually born in Puerto Rico to a Spanish father and Italian mother and moved to Mexico at a young age. Even as a child he already had great vocals. There's a great series about his life on Netflix. I don't know if it's dubbed in English, but it shows his sad life as a child star. The series jumps back and forth between his child years and his teenage/young adult years. His father was a psycho, mismanaged his money, stole around $20M, and it's rumored he had Luis Miguel's mom killed so he would have complete control of him. Season 2 is in the works.
