When I was dancing back in the 70's, 80's and 90's KC and the Sunshine Band were one of my favorites to dance to. Always fun!! Diverse band, White, black and Latino. They were called the Sunshine Band because they are from Florida (the Sunshine State). the Whole band is still together and tour.

KC is from my hometown near Miami. He worked with my mom before he made it. He told her he would make and she agreed with him. He'd work with her during the day, and swept floors in the recording studio early evening, waiting for the Bee Gees to finish, he would then record late at night, and the rest is history!

Yes. KC and the Sunshine Band is still Performing live.He will be in concert on May 7, 2023 at the Music Hall Center in Detroit Michigan. Keep up with the Good Work.

I wish i could move the way I did a few years ago .. But at almost 60 years young, I am not doing to bad .. Thank you Jamel this is what puts smiles on faces.. I am glad that the music has not been completely forgotten....

Wow! I remember hearing this song growing up in the 70's on my transistor radio. This group was one of my favorites back then. Thanks for playing this song and the memories. I turn up the volume on my tv, being ever so mindful of my neighbors, and sang and danced right along.

I got to see KC and the Sunshine Band around 2006. The show was called KC's Boogie Blast. He had several other Disco artists like Gloria Gainer singing their songs. The best thing was when I looked at the audience, there were all ages, kids to elderly, enjoying the music and dancing. This music is about feeling good and is timeless. That is why it is still used in movies today. Great video. Keep up the good work.

@Shirley Bailey I'm not sure who sung it, just know the tune & lyrics. But Cole Porter sounds about right 🤔😊 it's an old song, I know that & i find myself singing it out loud on occasion when things are going stupidly wrong 😆😆😆😆
