He did an interview recently and he was asked about how people were reacting to him, a white guy, doing hip hop. He gave a brilliant answer all around how much he respected hip hop and its connections to civil rights etc, and how much it had inspired him. And he said that he was blown away by the response he had received, particularly in USA. It is great to hear from reactors that you appreciate just how much of this stuff is in his veins, that he has absorbed its history and is paying homage to it

He isn't absorbing other peoples experiences and then spitting out good renditions of them. In all of his originals, those are HIS trials, tribulations and experiences being shared with us. It is what is in HIS head. He is not doing it to honor or imitate others. Was he influenced by many artists and genres ? Like every other artist.... Of course, he was ! But his story and sound are uniquely his. He has seriously raised the bar for the artists that come up behind him.

@@purplebongo27 I would say that about all the interviews I have seen so far. He is incredibly thoughtful and wants to answer as truthfully as he can. I was quite touched by the Knox Hill interview in which he spoke so openly about Joe. It is still an open wound

I have seen some of your Ren reactions now and I must say that I appreciate them. Not only because Ren is one of my alltime favorite artists. But also because I appreciate you as a reactor. Far to many reactors put on a big show with dramatic effects boardering on hysteria. I really like that you are calm, matter of fact and down to earth. I lived in Brighton for years and just love spotting the familiar landmarks, shops, and streets. For anyone who is interested, the narrow quirky little streets that often appear are often the North Laines, Brighton. Google them and click images. Such a funky, amazing place to live. Totally Beastie Boys homage, and you caught the Kriss Kross in there, too. Bandana headbands, the 90s style track suits, plus jumpsuits reminiscent of the Beasties Intergalactic video... it's a banger. I love this track! Edited to add: not the Big Push here, the guy in purple is his pal Vik (of pig butcher fame), not sure who the other one is.

Its impossible not to dance in your seat to this tune. I love seeing the fun old school vibe. @Jamel_AKA_Jamal: Camera Lense - Fish bowl or Fisheye Lense and possibly a Wide angle Lense thrown for some shots. Both can give a warped/distorted image like what we see in the video. They come different levels of distortion - Trade-offs. To gain certain aspects/effects, you give up others. No, not the Big Push, a different crew for this collab.
