As an only child and a foster child, I had to learn how to move on quickly. Later in life, I went through all kinds of phases that didn't work out... where I had to rebuild time and time again. Just recently, after getting this new job delivering pizzas - someone hit me from behind as I was turning. Suddenly, I was out of work; but because I've had to field so many major issues... this felt bad, yeah, but I knew I would recover and probably pretty quickly. First thing I did was call my mentor; and he called a friend; and then I called another friend just in case the first wouldn't come through. That's something else I've learned... have backup plans. Hope and intend for the best; but plan for the worst. But, the first friend came through; and the guy took a look at my truck and we ordered parts for it and he'll be working on it tomorrow. I let my job know what was going on all throughout the process; that way I don't get replaced... and they feel I care about how they are doing, as well. I had the accident just two or three nights ago; and already I've nearly manifested a working solution. I had saved money just in case I needed repairs; and even though I haven't been working at the job long... I've learned how to save most of my money for my goals. Before this, I went into debt and had to borrow money from friends. I worked off $400 from one friend, have the money to pay the other friend; and a third will be taken care shortly after that. I treat everyone with the most respect unless you cross me; and then I begin to shut you out. I'm not nasty about it; I just start withdrawing all the extras that that person had been receiving and probably not even noticing. Before the accident; another delivery job fell through when that job showed a severe lack of integrity; and did not even pay me for the time I worked for them. I told them point blank what I thought of how they were treating me; but when it became apparent that they wouldn't budge; I said, see ya later. Vented to my mentor; and then pretty much chalked it up to more experience. That's how I've operated most of my life. It's taught me resilience; but I keep an open heart. That can be very difficult to do; especially if you haven't had the opportunity to be tossed to the ground time and time again, and seen yourself recover, either with friends' or family's help; or just on your own. It trains you to rely on the idea that no matter how bad things seem to get; you can always recover. I've had many people I loved dearly, pass away, some within months of one another, both mother and father, a girlfriend while I was living on the streets; and then a special forces Army Ranger martial arts mentor. I chose pile 3 I am a clairvoyant and healer and quite versatile, always wanted a fireman’s lift 😂 I do have a lot of self love and have bern through the mill !
