Its surreal see JB in the previous "era" of Celtics teams. Like i sort of remember he came into the league when IT and crowder were on the team, but its a totally different level of reality watching him run around with the likes of Jerebco, Amir Johnson, Olynyk, and (I believe i spotted him) even Jordan Mickey. That seems like a lifetime ago and just one year later we had four big additions and a playoff run with a young core that was the foundation for the current roster.

When you look back, you realize that Jaylen Brown was a real project for the Celtics, he was a skinny 6'7 190lb 19 year old, who was uber athletic but extremely raw, he hardly had any offensive game and was completely reliant on his athleticism to score the few buckets he made, he didn't have an outside shot, he couldn't do anything off the bounce, he didn't have the physical strength to score around the basket. You look at where he is now in his 8th season and it's just crazy how he's transformed.

Came back for the 2022-23 season….brown is such a talented player and man this vid has brung back so many memories from these old Celtic teams I’m so happy with our success now but I weirdly miss some of these players

Love this kid. Build around him, Smart, AB, Crowder, the FA (come on Gordon H)'s we add. The Euro Stash guides, and Fultz (who I want more) or Jackson at our number 1 pick this year and a top 4 pick next year (ty Nets) and have a 12 to 18 year sustained excellence of 12 to 16 years as San Antonio did for hitting on the draft at the top middle end and second rounders.

@justinlag36467 жыл бұрын
That's way too much lmao
@bfns23287 жыл бұрын
It is, but if Cleveland can get it done 👀 I think the Celtics don't wanna lose Kyrie so they might fold eventually
@justinlag36467 жыл бұрын
Bfns 23 no way Celtics do that, you don't trade a potential star for a scrub
@bfns23287 жыл бұрын
JustinLag I wouldn't say Shump is a scrub, when healthy he's a pretty good defender but I see what ur saying. Still I think it didn't hurt for the Cavs to ask, all Boston has to do is say is no and they get no Kyrie but their star pg who's now not only physically hurt but emotionally as well. That might not be the situation they want
