I hope we get to keep Jaylen a few more years before he gets snatched up by a head coaching job somewhere, it will happen. He is a jewel and an asset to the program.

@panter panter lol, you are so right, I just don't know how the following people became famous...maybe its because they never took anything serious, like training. Typical Hispanics, I guess. Rafael Nadal, Pau Gasol, Steve Ballesteros, Lionel Messi, Arantxa Sanchez Vicario, Sergio Garcia, Diego Maradona, Emilio Sanchez, Manu Ginobili, Jose Canseco, Roberto Clemente, Oscar De La Hoya, Scott Gomez, Pancho Gonzalez, Nancy Lopez, Juan Marichal, Pedro Martinez, Chi Chi Rodriguez Anthony Munoz, Alex Rodriguez, Alberto Salazar. BTW, Jaylen Reyes joined the Nebraska volleyball program as an assistant coach in March 2018. Reyes coaches the Husker middle blockers and defense while helping coordinate game plans and scouting reports and assisting with other positions. He also serves as the Huskers' recruiting coordinator. In his first year on the Nebraska volleyball staff as an assistant coach, Reyes made a huge impact in helping the Huskers to a fourth-straight final four and an NCAA runner-up finish with a team that included eight newcomers. Reyes coordinated Nebraska's blocking and defense and led the Huskers to their best opponent hitting percentage since 2005 (.144). That mark led the Big Ten, and Nebraska held 13 opponents to their season-low hitting percentage. In conference play only, the Huskers averaged 2.89 blocks per set, the most in the Big Ten.

No wonder they are losing. Their practices aren't like in Asia...No disciplines whatsoever.
@sunohsun42345 жыл бұрын
Lol, they show a 3 minute clip of 10-15 seconds of humorous moments of a two hour plus practice and you actually think you know how they practice. Coach Cook has stated numerous times they spend at least an hour sometimes longer every practice just on fundamentals of serve, pass, and dig. The setters start practice 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the team. You don't lead the Big Ten in defense without putting in long hours of relentless effort and discipline in practice. And you certainly don't win twenty plus games either. BTW there have been ONLY four teams that have undefeated seasons in the NCAA era. So chances are they probably will lose games.

@@sunohsun4234 why wad Nebraska was fourth in its conference this year?
@samhothan40215 жыл бұрын
@@gemmasoyls6445 Maybe because we're starting 2 freshman and there isn't a single senior on the team? Plus the B1G is far and away the best volleyball conference in the nation.

gemma soyls they were second right behind Wisconsin. If they had one less loss in conference they would’ve been co champs with Wisconsin
