Awesome looking cuda. The old Challenger mustn't have been a high end model if it only did 6.1 to 60mph- that's what the quickest Aussie Valiant Chargers did with their 265 6 pack Hemi 6. Quickest in Australia for 25 years though!

67, 68, 69 Barracuda (AKA Baccaruda)...the best lookin' MoPar ever made IMO. I always loved it's looks.

I love how you guys kept the cowboy thing going for so long over there. It was like : "I don't need no darn headrest or seatbelt on this here horse!". I'll miss the U.S. when they end up being just as boring as the rest of us....:-(....As a German growing up in the 80's, I always looked up to the American way of life. Nowadays, there isn't that much difference between any of us anymore. Except Japan. They're just crazy.

I went with my dad to look at Dodge trucks in 77. You could see light through the door sills . There were runs in the paint. He bought a Chevy. Whatever happened at Chrysler was sad. My dad had owned a 67 roadrunner 383 and loved it too. He apparently wasn't as thrilled waking up to my mom pegging the roadrunner and leaving a Porsche in the dust going up the Columbia gorge 😄.

I owned and loved a "67 Cuda Formula "S" with the 273 engine and auto tranny.. It had the dual point Mallory ignition, the big square exhaust outlet, HD suspension, red line tires, a medium blue color with blue interior, and chrome valve covers and air cleaner. A real factory hot rod in its day. I ate most Mustangs for lunch. It was fast.

I've was always partial to Chrysler/MoPar. I've owned,'54 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe,'69 Dodge Charger,'69 Plymouth Fury 3 and a '77 Chrysler LeBaron. I wish I could have held on to those for my own collection. Thanks to you Jay and all the guys for great videos.
