why is it so tough to get the entire car in focus? it is weird to see one headlight in focus and the other out! any tips for that?

Yep, you can try shooting at a higher f-stop. All of my images I shoot around f2.8 because I like the bokeh look but if you want less blur you can use a higher f-stop. Even that probably won’t get everything in focus exactly for you so you could try focus stacking. I’ve never tried that before but that would solve it completely. You would need to use a tripod for that. If you search KZbin on how to focus stack there are a lot of tutorials. You’ll also need some software to bring the images together like photoshop. You could try “gimp” which is free if you don’t want to pay for photoshop. Not sure if gimp has the masking feature though like photoshop does.

What brand are the model cars, I bought some 1/87 HO scale, but the 1/64 have more details. I liked your images
