I'm amazed. With the clarity of the sound, the lack of extraneous noise and the balance I'd assumed a much more complicated setup. The Sony VG-10 will have to go on the shopping list.

Excellent sound quality, where'd they hide the microphone? (and great playing of course)

The microphone, believe it or not, is the built in mic on the Sony VG-10 video camera, on a tripod just to the right of the group... it's one of the best I've ever heard, and beats out most portable digital recorders...we had a Zoom on the ground, but the sound from that wasn't nearly as good.
