Hey man question for you, I wanna automate two drawers of pedals AND a line 6 M13 which has a midi thru. Would I need the Mio 1x1 or the Mio2 to run multiple channels of midi. OR can I run midi from the line 6 to the hex in each drawer then out to the laptop? I guess what I'm asking is for three drawers of Midi pedals would I need three channels of midi or is it possible to Daisy chain them together?

man i am getting frustrated. where the hell is the PC messages that hex receives????? i use an es8 together with synergy syn-2 already using PC messages so yes CC messagesd will not work with es8 and theres is limits with CCs yes it works but not as simple as i wish i need to know the values of hex PCs#

If it is click track driven, I don't think you can mess around with the playlist, nor can you extend chorus' or other sections. Well the thing looks futuristic, but feels a bit inorganic.

Yes you can adjust the playlist however you'd like, including making chorus' longer or other sections. We do it all the time ;)

I love the idea of being able to use real pedals with automated midi like this. But a question has been stumping me. How would you activate separate switches on a single pedal. For instance: I have a TECH 21 Hot-Rod Plexi Distortion Pedal that is basically a Marshall in pedal. It however, has two switches on it. It's activation switch and a separate switch called "hot", which activates it's overdrive. Is it possible to program which switch gets activated on a single pedal? Or even activate both switches at once (which is what I'm hoping for)?

Can you change the orfer of the pedals?

Nope and you have to program individual CC#'s for each loop you want activated in your controllers patch. I have so much programming to do.

So cool! I had no idea... One question. How can the drummer synchroninze his playing with the backing track in order to stay on beat for the whole song duration?

Probably a click track fed to him through his in-ears, that's synced with the midi switching system

Any chance you could go over how to A B amp channels with the HEX???

So this only works if you pre-program an entire setlist and play exactly to the measure. Like, if you trigger a track and you're a few beats off, your effects kick in at the wrong time? Or if something goes wrong (drummer loses a stick, guitarist breaks a string, etc.) and you have to restart the verse and take it from there, your effects will be completely out of wack?

Good stuff! I’m eager to learn more on this. Question: how would you do this when abelton live is being controlled by another musician on stage (I.e. drummer triggering each song). Can you have your own thing going and somehow slave your laptop to theirs?

Don’t forget about the plugs and cable you will need. Also if you do not know how to solder the you will have to pay a labor charge to have this done. That can get VERY expensive. I know from experience.

Hey, I wonder if it's possible to control the Hex with an old digitech midi control 8? It can send pc messages...
