A common issue with people playing Big Run is not luring bosses, because bosses almost always spawn from the same general area getting too close is a very bad idea so it's better to lure bosses like Maws, Steel Eels, Scrappers, Steelheads, Drizzlers, Flipper Floppers and Slammin' Lids closer to the egg basket for quick and easy egg delivery

I mean honestly that's a problem in Salmon Run in general. But admittedly, sometimes the number of bosses during Big Run makes it so luring is a bit risky cause it can quickly change from, luring to... OH GOD THERE'S 3 Steel Heads, 2 Steel Eels, we're getting mortared with Big Shots, Drizzlers, and Flyfish, 3 of us are dead and...died in wave 1.

Actually, I found that the bosses spawn close enough to the Basket that luring isn’t AS required as it is in other modes. (IE Flyfish are like halfway to the basket) Just don’t build up a massive pile of Eggs you can’t cart because of the Salmonids spawning, so luring just a little to get them away from the Salmon Spawn Gushers is a good idea. Scrappers and Flip-Floppers should be an exception.

Here are some things I learned from playing salmon run: 1: Glowflies should go to [Garbage can] 2: Use your specials 3: If you can talk to your teammates, say where you are throwing your bombs at [Satin] (if you don't know what boss I'm referencing I feel sorry for you) 4: It's okay if you loose against the Cohozuna. It has way to much health and the constant wave of bosses make it nearly impossible to get power eggs.

On grilled if you have blaster focus the little guys please. I’ve had so many teammates that had a blaster or roller and ignore the small fry.

​13_cmi I've realized that one of the best strats with high-DPS weapons is to exterminate normal Salmons as fast as possible. The real killer in Salmon Run isn't the bosses, it's all the normal enemies that get ignored because people are focused on killing bosses.

If you can't talk to your teammates, and there's two of you standing at Satan, throw the bomb on the same side your standing at! It's such a simple way to avoid the bombs going in one basket, but nobody ever does this

​@@MadWeegee i always go for the left/blue one first because that's the side that sends missiles to a random player, the right/red one only targets the closest player (so probably me if i've gotten rid of the other one) this keeps my teammates safe if i'm dealing with it alone + means enemy ink doesn't cover other parts of the map

The one thing this mode needed was the ability to bring your own weapon (me and my beloved squiffer) as well as your own gear too (like your turf war match suddenly got interrupted by the salmonids when they came early). Though some trolls might come with only Dynamos and Big Swings. Also the lack of urgency from Deep Cut and Splatsville regarding Big Run at Wahoo is very similar to how nonchalant Floridians are when they hear a hurricane is about to hit their state but they are on the other coast from landfall and know they will only get tropical storm force winds at most.

@@Vyloka I love Squiffer, even on Big Run, it's quick charge is useful for taking out hit tanks like Drizzlers, Scrappers, and Slammin Lids in 2-3 shots depending on if your other teammates are helping you. Also can one shot Steal Heads, reach Steel Eels if they are far away, and has the precise shot to hit a Drizzler's ink storm torpedo back at it. Situationally it doesn't do that well against restless Salmonids, and if the fight is at the spawn end of Wahoo eliter is the best charger to use there since it's long range covers both flanks and it doesn't have to worry about covering it's back.

At this point, my teamates in Salmon Run are considered NPC's. Not blueberries, not randoms, NPC's. Had a teamate yesterday who forgot how to throw his eggs and failed because of it....when he was holding the only egg we needed and decided to swim up to the basket instead of throwing it at the basket....we ran out of time, never made it close to the basket, but was perfectly within range to throw it. Had another teammate who wanted to play hero and not go for revives....

@@tattisiti Oh I rewatched my footage, dude was submerged the entire time from when he killed the flipper flopper and picked up the egg, to swimming to the basket. To put it in perspective as to how far he was from when he picked up the egg, the egg basket was in the middle of Wahoo World, and the eggs were at the top of the ramp leading to the middle of the stage, before the rotating platforms. He killed the flopper, submerged and swam to the egg, stayed submereged all the way to the basket....yea even if he was on empty, he wouldve had enough ink for sure

Step 1. Almost never trust your teammates for stuff like putting eggs in the basket. If you have bad teammates chances are they will waste their specials on wave 1 and will forget about random eggs on the ground that you need.

Actual tips for Big run: 1. lure the salmonids, bring a boss to the basket and kill it there. This takes 1/3 the time to gather eggs, meaning more time to shoot.(This does not work on fish sticks, stingers, fly fish, and bigshots. Let's call them backliners) 2. Stay near the basket, only leave to take care backliners. This is good to bring slime heads, drizzlers, and salmon lids, these bosses will move towards the nearest player and will only start attacking when In range. 3. A maws should only be splatted next to the basket. these guys are the easiest to lure. if you are targeted by bring it to the basket 4. The closer you are to the shore the more dangerous it is.Big shot Cannons are really dangerous to be around, if you can lure a boss it's better to bring them to the basket than to kill them by the cannon. 5.Use specials proactively. The best time to use specials is before you are overwhelmed not after it. 6. Look for where eggs retrievers spawn as they will fly back to that spot. Sometimes they'll fly over the basket where you can shoot them to drop eggs closer to your goal.. So you can use them as egg transportation 7.
