Amazing !! Such grace and strength from both of them. There is a sensuousness to their precision that few other ice dancers have. It's that "extra" dimension that most others lack - that complete sympatico that sets them apart from everyone else - even in their 60s. Chris is still devastatingly handsome and so damned strong - and Jayne is still so beautiful and lithe. I find myself actually holding my breath when I'm watching them. How wonderful it must be to be able to skate - to MOVE - like that !! I've been in a wheelchair for the past two years - so it's a real pleasure to watch them. They make me feel like I'M flying !!

Jayne is 65 and Chris iis 64 years old. They are phenomenal!!!! How many people could lift and throw each other around at that age?! I'm not suggested people in 60s are past it, I know many who are very physically active and energetic and talented, but it does get harder and harder, there is just no doubt about that. To maintain the beauty and grace on the ice, as well as meeting the physical demand is nothing short of phenomenal!

Well, there were the Protopopovs(1964 & 1968 Olympic gold pairs champs) who sacrificed having a family to continue skating and were still doing exhibitions and ice shows into their 70's.

Ice dancing during their time was not quite as physical as it can be now. Plus there is no jumping in ice dancing. Still amazing but not like singles or pairs. In fact, I remember when it was added to competition and there was some debate as to whether it should be an Olympic sport. Love it
