Sonic 2 Absolute - Prototype Edition ✪ First Look Gameplay (1080p/60fps)

Sonic 2 Absolute - Prototype Edition is a collection of mods that try and resemble both Nick Arcade & Simon Wai prototypes, made by various creators.
The main feature here is Prototype Sonic. This simply modifies Sonic's palette, animations and some sprites with his Simon Wai and Nick Arcade Ones, while modifying some sprites to make them look similar. While checking this out, I had the idea of trying various other mods similar to the 2 prototypes.

- Things to note here -
Randomly thinking that there wasn't much differences, I crossed out Oil Ocean here, something I know I should've added but had second thoughts. Also, for Sonic 2-Styled Knuckles, it was a random add-on, thought it was an interesting design to look at.

Noice. Sonic 2 Absolute Prototype Edition. Reminds me of your Sonic 3 A.I.R. Prototype Collection video. Also, can you do a showcase of Sonic 3 A.I.R. with Modern Sonic v1.2? This update came out on New Years Eve. And for similarities to your Remixed Modern Sonic showcase, I recently made a Modern Era Music Pack to go well with him. Also exists is a Modern style for Tails and Knuckles meant to be paired with this mod, known as Modern Team Sonic by Migpapas131. And as a stage addon, Lava Reef Zone Redesigned v2 by GFX32 also came out recently. Hope this happens soon. And see ya tomorrow!

Will admit that the prototype on here has some awesome touches that would be nice to see on the actual Sonic 2 that they didn't want to include. I don't like the Knuckles model too much, but I'm sure the refined look he has on Sonic 3 would stay the best it can. The highest speed sprite that Sonic has should've really stayed so it can come into comparison to the sprite we see on Sonic CD. Really amazing upload this day
