Fun fact: The best way to deal with hex invasions, or wolf attacks at the den, is to target the wolf with most authority. When that wolf dies/runs, the rest flees. Usually, you'd target the leader, if there's no leaders in the group attacking you, target the oldest subordinate. This always ends fights with little to no damage taken for you and the pack

Ive found that if you down any of the wolves, they run, regardless of authority. Ive (unfortunately; kinda hate doing it) downed a pup, yearling, and subordinate (different attacks), and each time, the pack ran

I generally target weakest/ highest starting flight meter. As they loose numbers even the boldest pack will think better of the situation- only reason I pulled out a win vs a pack of very bold and hostile wolves descending on my injured pack. As several were driven off and one fell tipping the numbers in my favour

If your pups form a pack with a mate and they have pups, you’re gonna have to fight them 😭😭 I have to fight my son Bruce and his mate a few times 😭😭

⁠@@justicedreamsyeah, not if you start a new game with the pup though, it needs to be when the pup disperses from the pack, it gives a popup to make a save slot for that pup and you can play as it with the current territory situation and stuff, although the pup save and the parent wolf save are in different universes so you can murder everyone in one save and in the other it’ll be perfectly fine, also you can play as a yearling instead of starting as a subordinate

@@justicedreamsI had a pup disperse, when a pup disperses you (playing as its parent) get a popup that basically has options to make a save as that newly dispersed pup (that you can go back to anytime) and an option to make it an ironwolf. Then, once you finish selecting those things and move out of the popup, the pup walks away and you can’t attack it, but if you run up and emote at it it may play bow back or something. When you go into load game, there will be save titled [pup name] dispersed. You can load this and then you will be your pup, and your pack will be there still, just as friendly npc wolves. I think they stop being friendly once you get a mate but idk

Another fun challenge you could do is try to take over a rival pack. Not sure if it would be with Aden or one of his pups when they grow up but it is a fun challenge to try and become a pack leader of a rival pack.

I have a tip for easily keeping track of stranger wolves in a fight. Give them a letter reflecting their age or rank. This is how I did it which helped a lot PL - Pack Leader A - Adult Wolf Y - Yearling P - Pup

Ik nobody asked but I wanted to say this cause i think its funny, so far in the saga I’ve wiped out 3 packs on the slough creek map and none of my yearlings died from that so now I control the north west down to the middle west and the easternmost point is 3/4 of the way to the northeast corner and it connects down to where slough creek passes through the mountains between first and second meadow

ik i being annoying but you gotta bind your woof bc you have to stop moving to open the wheel, and in the elk hunt you lost the elk you were fighting cus you did that, and that's not too bad but you could genuinely lose a pup in a battle bc of the second or more longer it takes you to open the wheel and I really don't want that to happen :3

Iirc Jay does have woof in her favourites, but either way she's mentioned in the past that she's more used to just using the emote wheel rather than pressing a key so it's easier for her to do it that way. I do wish she'd use the keys as well though because it's so much quicker aksadhdshds, but I don't think she plans to switch to doing it that way as using the emote wheel is more familiar ^^ (also love your PFP, amphibia moment

I would add to like a little idea for prey! It’s worked for me a lot in the normal game but for Saga I’ve recently played but still getting used to it so I play on easy, but targeting after the spike elks always seem to have either half full health or a little more than half full but they’ve been easier to take down for some reason. May be different now because of the saga but just an idea for next video when needing more food!

I was in that same spot of territory but after almost dying from that elk herd by the bolder field twice I decided to move. Luckily (and sadly) Buffalo Plateau were mostly killed during the night by a different pack, the few that lived dispersed, so I took all of their territory. I like that area much better. Ive had two litters now on Accurate, in the first litter 3 survived, second 4 survived.

Honestly I'm loving the saga but it can be so brutal. Last time I was right at the end of the young hunters quest with all 6 pups alive and I thought "finally, I managed to do this", but then I went to sleep and bisons decided to spawn right next to us and kill one of the pups...well that was very unlucky XD

The beta version of the saga is out and as long as the Wolf Quest team is able to fix the bugs then it’s slated to be out in full release before the end of 2024. If you want to play the beta version then you can opt in, the beta is public so you don’t need a code to play it.
