I have a different brand similar to this, just start using it to see how it works, but there’s no temperature option and I’m wondering how to change the temp. In its video on amazon it s shown 16°C but in mine gives 22°C.

It would be useful to cool down a 250sq ft bedroom when sleeping especially if you don't have an AC unit.

Can you put plain cold water in it without the ice packs?

Yes. For the best effect use the coldest water and ice if possible.

Hey do you think this will work well for me. I live in the attic temporarily this year and it is mostly insulated and closed. It gets hot by morning and afternoon. Outside is 80-85 degree but the direct sun heats up our roof/attic easily and feels like almost 85-95 inside. Do you think this will cool "enough" to reach a comfortable level like 70s?

Nvm, it didn't work well. Only changed room temp by like 1-2 degree even with ice pack. Went ahead bought a portable ac that vent out hot air out through a hose instead at walmart for same price and works better by 20 degree difference. Guess I learned something

There is a drainage tube near the bottom. Just rinse the old water and reservoir with new water. @@metrorailuser

Its from where wire is attached.. like one end is plug and one end is attached to the cooler so its leaking from the other end where it is attached to cooler
