Running stiff front springs and softer rears is worth a try, gives better traction but less roll (a good proportion of the weight is on the front with the engine gear box) 👍

10 front and 14 rear would work well on the E30 on track. As the M52 is quite light, 12 might feel abit too stiff with 12 on the rear. Many guys run 8 and 12s on the road and drive quite well.

Have you thought about changing the track rod ends to a rose jointed arm? Would be simple enough to make if not available off the shelf. I was also caught out with the inboard spring on my compact, ended up going with 6kg front and 8kg rear (its my daily). Worth thinking about beefing up the rear turrets and going to coil overs on the rear when you can. I disagree with people recommending anti roll bar kits, with that much spring rate you won't need them, they can be useful for tuning oversteer/understeer balance on the fly but otherwise I see them as a bit of a gimmick.

Great video Jay, It's really interesting to hear some Suspension tech knowledge from Phil too. i I got an 80's semi Trailing arm car as well, (1984 Toyota Celica Supra) And have some HSD DT's on the back and have messed about with spring rates But, Because of having Whiteline Adjustable Anti Roll bars, going past a 325lb spring is just awful on anything but circuit. I know yours is track only but was surprised to see you having standard anti roll bars. on it when you wanted to get rid of body roll. You not a fan of them?

They’re just quite expensive, I’m sure they’d help though.
