As someone who's been racing RC motorcycles for the past 20 years, I can tell you that you can also bend the leaning bars up so that you can lean the bike more while still retaining the ability to stop the bike without having to run after it... real race bikes don't have gyros, but this is a nice introduction to the world of RC bikes... you just have to learn that, in order to make a tighter turn, you don't turn the wheel on the controller more, you slow down to make tighter turns... turning the wheel more will only serve to lay the bike down... it takes finesse and a light touch on the controller to run an RC bike and with practice they are rewarding and fun

I just got one of these CX3's and I appreciate your insight. It's my first RC bike.

I have the Losi Promoto MX and it's freaking Amazing. I bought 3 of them. I have one converted to a Super Moto with street tires. If you don't have one you need one ASAP. The most fun surface RC ever made IMO.

I have the Evo version with the brushless motor and it’s crazy fast! The triple clamps are flimsy though and you’ll probably want to upgrade to the cnc alloy ones. Fun little bike!

Looks a lot like the little ecx motorcycle (outburst), I think. Only bigger. How hard would a brushless conversion be?

That's awesome and at a decent price I'm getting one 😁👍

Have you found a way to change the battery easier, because having to take it apart everytime stinks. Why i never run mine
@Jays_rcgarage6 күн бұрын
No, I agree. They need to make a V2. I think horizon will eventually make one. They have the technology from the Promoto. Only right for them to make a street bike.

The term "non-powered gyro" doesn't make sense. Like saying "non-powered sailboat." It is not a perpetual motion machine that defies physics. All gyros require some sort of power/energy to initially spin. In this case it's a flywheel with a one-way bearing located inside the rear wheel that is powered by the main drive motor that spins up with throttle instead of having a separate, dedicated motor like the Losi.
@MonsterPartsRc5 ай бұрын
he means 'non-powered' gyro because some RC bikes have brushless motors that spin the gyro (which actually work better)... he should have said 'mechanical gyro' instead of' 'non-powered'... "real" RC bikes (ones used for racing) don't use gyros at all, but this is a nice intro to the world of RC motorcycles (I've been racing them for 20+ years)

You claim a number of these RCs are easy to run. When do we get to see your camera person run some them?
