Jay, it's not just the categories that I like, I really like that you remind us of the category grades of previously reviewed amplifiers - because of that, the grade given in each category has immediate perspective - thanks for another excellent amplifier review - - - I hope that you and your family get through the expected bad weather ok.

One category not considered in review, aesthetics. Dan D Agostino Momemtum Scores 10+, The Gryphon Colosseum might be the superior Amp, but scores a 1 in Aesthetics. Awesome review Jay, thanks.

As always, excellent stuff Jay! Can’t wait to hear how the Parasounds fare with the Maggie’s. Being the “current” monsters that they are, even more so than the Momentum, and mating them with the “current” sponges that the Maggie’s are, should prove highly illuminating. Do we have another high value item or are they paper tigers? Should prove to be lots of fun!

Would you say the Agostino a lot of the price is the copper design and looks versus the internal quality? I have Parasound right now JC5 but looking to upgrade to 2 mono JC + 1's to power my Monitor Audio Platinum 500 MK 2's

Hi Jay I’m new to the channel, are you a dealer and is this your showroom or are you an enthusiast and this is your room in your home? Do you get the items in on loan or are they your personal purchases? The reason for asking is I have an outstanding relationship with my dealer and I can walk out with anything for trial, but it took me years to build that relationship. Keep up the great work.

Colosseum is discontinued and available for $27K from the distributor.....less than $30K Momemtum.....so a great value.and even a better value than Luxman, .....since it is so much better and only $7K more..

According to dealers The new ESSENCE is better than the Colosseum so you'll save at least 5K buying the Essence and get a better amp.

@@jaysaudiolab YOUR Gryphon Dealer for one. Go to his site AUDIOSHARK and go check out the comparison vs the Colosseum. With a decent price break you can get the Essence for probably under 20K compared to the 27K Colosseum which might be inferior.

BILLIONDOLLAR BABY yeah seriously. If you watched this video to the end you’d see he’s about to review a mono block set of Parasound JC1+. Those retail $17k for the mono block set. The PS Audio BHK Mono blocks retail for $15k for the set. Close enough and in the sand class as the new review coming soon. Keep your lame comments to yourself.

@@christhomas5801 There is NO WAY in hell he will review ANY PS Audio gear at this stage in his career. Most dealers that use to carry the Line didnt even want to sell the products due to all the issues with defects/returns etc But you dont know anything about that obviously. Enjoy feeding at the bottom of the tank
