Every single no.1 prospect in every organization in baseball should be expected to hit higher than 228. Unless they're a pitcher , if they weren't touted to hit at least 228 , they wouldn't be no. 1 prospects. Somebody out there must be willing to give up their no. 1 for Bo . He's mailed it in just like Vince Carter did in his last year with the Raptors. He clearly doesn't want to be here no matter how much they want him .

I think Atkinson should be let go. He started the team demise three years ago. It would be very foolish to rely on him to rebuild the club . You can not continue to do the same thing year after year and hope for a different result. Change of philosophy is needed.

There won’t be any moves until July 22 nd The organization is shady and moved up the season ticket sales deadline to just before the trade deadline. So they are not saying anything until they see the ticket sales . Really bad move toward the fans .

Quite frankly I had a gut feeling before the season started that this wasn't going to be a good team. If you remember last year the only reason they got to the playoffs was because the teams ahead of them in September crapped out big time. That team had no business being in the playoffs and we all know how that worked out. Then came the off season when they put all their hopes and dreams into one player who they had a very slim chance of actually getting. Of course they didn't. They had NO backup plan when he didn't come to Toronto. After that all of a sudden they were very happy with the team they had! They added a couple of middle of the road players and brought back KK, who I have always liked but he's well past his prime. Remember the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Doesn't that sum up our 2024 Blue Jays? How could a team that wasn't good enough last year be good enough this year? This isn't on John Schnieder, this is 100% on Atkins. He needs to go now Before the rebuild starts because he has no clue.

Nobody wanted to be on the team after ownership crashed the offseason. Players realized that ownership would not go for it and were just waiting out the year so they could half the payroll and start the rebuild. It's what ownership wants and always does

I don't think there is any manager or coach who can get a team to perform at its potential as long as Toronto keeps the same head office. You can use analytics to gather the players together, but you have to let the managers and coaches do the rest. If Schneider is, in fact, making these ridiculous choices then fire him. if not, fire the head office for relying on analytics' solely.

You are 1000% correct. Schneider is known in the MLB for having stabbed Montoyo in the back for his job so that dude has blood on his hands and the sooner he goes the better. If Atkins hadn’t had a personal vendetta against Montoyo, he would’ve taken them to the playoffs that year….. a year Schneider wasted. There’s no excuse, given the talent on that team for the performance for the past three years..

The season is far from over. After the series against the Mariners, the Jays begin a long stretch against inferior teams: Detroit, San Francisco, Arizona, Tampa and Texas. There are fifteen wins ready to be taken here which will put the Jays into a wild card spot plus they play Oakland, Anaheim, the Cubs and Miami later in the year.
