In 10 days I will be 74 y ears old , I am pretty broken and worn out (not in the best shape loots of medical problems and surgery's over the years. The one thing that I always wanted to do was go to Alaska to fish. While I could never make it there watching that movie had me feeling like I was there. This was the most wonderful movie I have seen on fishing in Alaska. God Bless you guys, all of you for taking me with you on such a wonderful trip. It was amazing. Keep it going and I will be with you on all of your adventures! God Bless!

@ not when you consider the logistics and cost to run the place. Those Beavers are not cheap nor the pilots. Great guides deserve good money too and enough money for the hours they put in behind the scenes the guest don’t see.

Tikchik Narrows Lodge stands out as one of the most exceptional operations in all of Alaska. While words can hardly capture the essence of the experience, collaborating with you and Josh through film brings the reality of the Alaskan experience to life. Yes, Alaska can be costly, but it offers an incredible range of opportunities for anglers eager to immerse themselves in its vast, unparalleled beauty. Even with multiple lifetimes, you’d only begin to uncover the wonders this remarkable place holds. If you’re wondering where to start your Alaskan adventure, we’d love to connect and help guide you along the way. All bookings will directly benefit Jay and future projects.

I Guided for Crystal Creek Lodge, a neighbor of TikChik, in the early 90s. Fished a lot of the same water. Your footage on the Agulapak river of the char and bows mixed in with the sockeyes brought back some great memories. I remember days when flying over the “Pak” when the entire river looked red from the air, from all the sockeyes. Great vid! Spent a ton of time living in outpost tent camps, often alone for weeks, on the Nush, the Togiak and other smaller, more remote rivers loaded with giant rainbows….. giant brown bears everywhere back then.

There are no words to explain how beautiful Alaska is in the summer and fall. Me and my sons have been there many times and have done a few fly in trips to very remote locations. The kind where the plane is brushing its wingtips on tree’s and they drop you off to sleep in tents and cook over a fire for 3 days. Luckily they provided a small aluminum boat and a guide with a 45 and 12 gauge with slugs in it. Anyhow we were pursued by a few large brown bears up and down the inlet that the guide used his gun to chase them away, while we waded in shorts and tennis shoes and caught our limits of cohos. No fish storie
