The Celtics, since Tatum arrived, have lost in the playoffs six times. Here are the top players they lost to: 2018: LeBron's Cavs 2019: Giannis's Bucks 2020: Jimmy / Bam's Heat 2021: Durant's Nets 2022: Steph's Warriors 2023: Jimmy's Heat Last year's Heat series was the first time one could say, "Tatum should be the best player on the court." Everyone acknowledges that was an inexcusable loss, starting with Tatum and the Celtics. But emphasizing the 6 ECF in 8 seasons, 5 in 7 for Tatum, needs context.

Amazing player, but he doesn't have that killer instinct. When the game is on the line, final shot, he needs to drive and collapse the D then kick it out to someone clutch. (D white for instance).

Per ESPN Stats & Info, Tatum has hit nine game-tying or go-ahead field goals in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime in the last five seasons, the most in the NBA.

Then Tatum needs to step up so he can win one then. He just plays so stupid sometimes…! If your shot isn’t falling adjust to something easier that’s just common sense…!

He does it is called playmaking that's what he does when his shot wasn't falling and he plays defense you clearly don't watch him play!!
@superSIZEmee6 ай бұрын
@@justinlong5589 I don’t watch him play because I don’t agree that a few more assists are sufficient to replace the point average he normally produces but isn’t…? Shut up….! 🤦♂️🤷♂️
@nocturne3116 ай бұрын
@@superSIZEmeeThere’s more than scoring to the game. If Tatum draws three doubles and hits three wide open shooters for threes - that’s nine points. I would rather him do that than force jumpers at times and end up going 1/3 or 2/3 on those possessions instead, which would actually cause him to create fewer total points for Boston during said three possession span. You seem like you really don’t understand basketball. Also, Tatum has been driving much more this season so he has made adjustments.
@superSIZEmee6 ай бұрын
@@nocturne311 At the end of the day the game is about who scored more…! Tatum is the #1 scoring option so for him it’s about scoring…!
