If Jayson Tatum’s dad was saying he was playing soft and Coach K was saying he was playing soft, then I don’t wanna see how he was playing back then. To this day when I watch the Celtics play I get frustrated and How soft he plays when he drives to the basket, the slightest of contact to the basket the ball is stripped away from him. Imagine bosses doing this. Parents doing this. But since it’s sports and the coaches are paid 8 mill… So in life when you make mistakes or aren’t perfect, it’s about humiliation and being chewed out? You can get intense and heated without the straight up insanity that you hear of about knight and k.

I'm born and raised in StL...I grew up hating Duke I'm a NC fan. So I was mad Tatum went to Duke. Then I was super mad he got drafted by Boston Celtics I hate them to lol us StL sports fans hate everything Boston. Patriots, Red Sox, and Bruins so glad our NHL team Stl Blues beat the Bruins for the Stanley Cup 5yrs ago. All that being said I would like to see the hometown kid win a chip and then leave Boston! 😂

Things have certainly changed over the last 25 years but It was a huge part of the culture of sports and the military once upon a time. I played bball in HS and college...also served time in the USMC. Right, wrong or indifferent this was the way things were.
