Yeah, he sounds dumb in this sound bite, take curry away from this team and even the team with KD they probably don't win. Curry breaks the defense when he's on the court even if he's not making shots because of the attention he draws away from the basket, which makes it sooo much easier for his teammates to score.

This is how good Kobe was; as inefficient as he was he still has 5 ships. 3 With a top 10 player in Shaq and two with a highly skilled, not quite top 75 player in Pau Gasol and a middling player in Lamar Odom. His second round of championships came with what was basically a poor man's Bulls squad when they had Jordan, Rodman, and Pippen. The center was Luc Longley the sixth man was who? Toni Kukoc right? People often forget about how good Jordan's squads were. A team with Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, and Kukoc (coming off the bench) would basically amount to a super team today. AND again they had JORDAN! Kobe was never truly ever as good as Jordan and yet he ran with lesser teams and still won. That's why he makes so many top tens. He did more with less and being a lesser version of Jordan. That's why you shouldn't compare Tatum to him. They aren't even close to being the same player.

Early in Steph Curry's career he was mainly a jump shooter. Now he has a mid-range and he attacks the basket. Curry put in the work to improve himself. Jayson Tatum needs to improve on attacking the basket, shooting free throws, and making quicker decisions.

Golden State’s defense becomes smaller and more suspect with Poole starting at the 2 than with Klay. Plus, it’s typical that players coming off injuries don’t fully bounce until 18-24 months after the injury. Given Klay’s extended time away, I believe he’ll be better in year 2. Poole wants to get paid but is he really that good or is it the system and the players surrounding him? If I had to bet on it, I’d say the latter. It may be difficult to keep him but that opens it up for Moody and Kuminga, which gives the team more offensive and defensive flexibility. I like Poole but it may work out to let him leave to see how easy he had it.

I don't think the dubs care about the tax, they haven't this whole run. And I don't think that'll change their inability to sign new people with how far over they are anyways, unless they do something really dramatic like letting Wiggins walk. If they want to save on tax when time comes to pay their young guys or keeping older ones, Klay and Dray have to take less on their next contracts, simple as that. They're getting older, they've got their bags, they see guys like poole and Wiggins stepping up in the playoffs at a young age and guys like Kuminga and Moody looking great I'm the regular season, their roles are going to lessen as their contracts age, especially in the reg season, they'd need to take that Tom Brady team discount so other guys can get more.with less tax impact, simple as that. If they don't they might have to pray the front office stays as sharp as they have.
