A few years ago we were also up 2-0 in the Finals (GSW), and we all know how that turned out. The knicks were also up 2-0 on this team just a little while ago. And we all know how that worked out. There should be absolutely "no comfort" in a measly 2-0 lead. We should treat it as if it was 0-0, when we step into Indy this weekend.

I guess a better example would be that in this same ECF in 2018, C's were up 2-0 on the Cavaliers, and ended up losing the series 4-3. Also, the very next year (2019) in the ECF Toronto went down 0-2 to the Bucks and then went on to win that series, and the NBA Title that year. (This is just a small example in recent years). Thus the point remains the same as I was pointing out, the C's should take "no" comfort merely in being up 2-0; and should approach gm #3 this weekend as if the series is tied at 0-0. There is a saying that a series doesn't really start until someone first wins on the opponent's home court; thus, we've done nothing yet but win at home where we needed to protect our home court advantage.

I love JT but its kinda painful listening to these aftergame press meetings. His head us always down and he never seems happy. Especially if you mention Brown. I wish they could both praise each other without thinking its going to take the shine off of themselves, but I blame the media for the narrative they always spin. I get why JB feels snubbed.
