What makes more impressive about Tatum's stat line is his +20 on plus/minus. Really impacted both ends, did miss wide open shots on 4th but man his impact in OT and defensively really strikes this game. Jrue played well, JB with a miracle and proving doubters wrong that they can close out a game. Now they need to erase the curse of game 2 and win it with fashion.

imma need this brother to lowkey do better down the fourth quarter. that shot selection was gonna drive me nuts loo. but he redeemed himself in OT. he sticks to what he is good at and it works out for him in the end. sensational performance as well. i wonder what the media is gonna say about him now

When he passed it to Kornet, Kornet clear expected to pass it again, and then he saw that no one was going to stop him, and he was like "Screw it!" and dunked it himself. And he was so happy about it. Magnificent.

He needs to stop rushing everything in the clutch especially his shots. Feels like that’s the main reason he misses so many shots in these situations because he’s so focused on getting the shots up instead of actually making the shot. He did make up for it in OT tonight but he needs to be better and so does everyone else so we aren’t in another situation like this in the series. Thank God Jaylen saved us.

The Celtics have had such an easy road i think this game shows us that in the clutch moments and stressful 4Q we can still show up, great game. Stressful but great
@jamirbingham41015 ай бұрын
Your comment makes zero sense, it’s neither going to fall or it isn’t. Not to mention he’s needs to take more mid range shots and limit his self to attempting 5 3s a game.

Tatums jump shot is depressing to watch. I don’t know how anyone watches him shoot the basketball and thinks he’s anywhere close as a shooter to what he was earlier in his career. Specifically the last two seasons he has fallen off a cliff as a pull up jump shooter, basically a 30% guy when he was 40% on average through his first 5 seasons. Too much bulking up messed up his shot
@Chrism71785 ай бұрын

@@Chrism7178 yeah but it's the pull ups that he can't hit. Once he puts the ball on the floor his efficiency tanks. Didn't used to be that way, also he has struggled two straight playoffs from three and shooting traditional jumpers in general
@Chrism71785 ай бұрын
@@josepha.1315 Thats a lie. Tatum putting the ball on the floor and score from all 3 levels is the foundation of his gravity. If he were to not take his 3s the coverage changes and teams will sag. Making his driving lanes tighter and ruining spacing. His draw from 3pt to the paint is literally the engine of the team. He cannot drive to the rim into 3-4 ppl every touch while guarding 1-5, facilitating and not being able to rest without lead evaporating. Lastly. That pull up 3 is the only spot on the floor where he doesnt have to go through a see of defenders for a bucket. He has to conserve his legs somehow.
@josepha.13155 ай бұрын
@@Chrism7178 What is a lie about him getting worse the last two years as a jump shooter? He statistically has and his pull up shooting percentages have declined by nearly 10% last two years compared to his career norm. I never said anything about don't shoot, I'm saying he doesn't hit shots at the same level, esp. those pull up threes
