Such a mature superstar giving thoughtful, measured, respectful responses. Yet there are people calling him boring , can never be an alpha, not tough enough, perpetual loser can't win, not the rah rah type to lead a team,..... SMH He's a great model for younger players to follow

Someone brought this up to me with what angel reese said the other day, saying how shes a "real class act" sarcastically. And I said well in the NBA we have an ACTUAL "real class act" in Tatum and the entire USA hates the man. So there no pleasing these people either Tatum is a boring, no heart, no leader, lame, or an actual "real class act" pick one.
@pete31986 ай бұрын
Absolutely, and I've been saying this for years. There are very few big time superstars in the league, especially younger ones, who have this kind of modesty, respect, and humility. He's a genuinely nice kid and a great role model, it just makes me want to root for him even more.

He needs to quit complaining to refs so much but he still doesn’t get half the calls that most stars get. And he’s a top 5 player

I like the attitude and the chill way he's approached the finals again. He somehow exudes confidence in a abstract way. I believe he gets the challenge deep down and the importance of the moment. He won't fail for lack of preparation. It's the Brown Tatum narrative that blurs the real Tatum who is doing quite well for himself. His mindset is fascinating and I believe the winning one.

Danny did an amazing job drafting both jays at #3. He had the most confidence in trading down and still believing that JT would be there at #3☘️☘️☘️☘️💪💪
@truth34126 ай бұрын
Just think that trade is what allowed them to get dwhite eventually. Remember they they got an extra 1st round pick from philly. That pick became romeo langford which is who we traded(along with a few first rounders) for dwhite. So that trade down from the #1 pick got the celtics tatum and dwhite.

I hope he becomes the face of the NBA when Bron and Steph and KD retire. It would be good to have a home grown, clean cut, well-spoken, mature for his age, photogenic, elite player like JT represent the league Embiid got a lot of criticism for being on Team USA for not being American (though he got citizenship recently). So no offense to Luka but a homegrown American star like JT would be great as the new face. Steph Bron and KD are all home grown.@@wildheart2978

It's interesting that when asked about his teammate winning ECF MVP, Tatum never said Brown deserved it. Not one compliment to a teammate that played tough defense, rebounded, was more consistent and averaged 30. It tells us something about Tatum. If the Celtics win it all, it could be partially attributed to them winning despite Tatum instead of because of Tatum.

The problem is Kobe emulated Jordan and had his killer mentality, Tatum tries emulating Kobe but doesn’t have the killer instinct. You see Brunson, Butler, Curry, Ant-man and a few more guys in the league that rise up when facing competition Tatum disappears or goes and stands in a corner.

Your wrong my friend Tatum does have the killer instinct. Tatum has for nba allstar games . And 1 gold medal has been named first team all nba and has been to 5 conference finals and 2 nba finals now. There is no way have this resume at only 26 and not have a killer instinct mmmm.
