That being said, the Celtics find themselves in this predicament every year. The fact the Heat had a historic shooting night without two of their best players shows chemistry, trust, and the ability to run an offense efficiently. Let's at least acknowledge that.

The defense, the effort and the lack of in game adjustments was the reason they lost. Porzingis needs to play better but lets not pretend the whole team weren't lethargic sloths - especially in their close outs, fighting through screens and injecting some pace and player movement in the offense. They took the energy they had from the last quarter in Game 1 and played with the same energy.

To be fair, Tatum was never supposed to be the #1 option. It was Kyrie's team. Then Marcus Smart's team mixed with Tatum/Brown. Now it's just Tatum. However, he's not aggressive enough on the court.
