Wow. THANK YOU. I just got this camera. It's my first time using a non-Iphone camera 😅and was completely lost until I found your video. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I got my zv-e1 yesterday. However i haven’t receive my lens yet. When i turned on the camera with body cap since there is no lens, i heard some noise coming from the sensor. Is it normal?

Yeah, the sensor stabilization system can make some noise on boot up sometimes..

Yes it's the sensor stabilization rig inside and it's normal.

Well that depends how big your room, how far the camera is from you, and what lens you are using. I would try larger & medium first and just play with them a bit to see for yourself. Then you can mess with the behavior options a bit once you find the size that works for you.

@ i am using sony fe 35mm f1.8. The camera between me is 1 meter. I am using medium crop.. it is too fast and shaky.. what is your suggestion?

@@firdausraduan3253 Like I said, I would play with the settings as you can see here: 48:57 You can try lowering the framing speed to slow and use a large crop to try and slow things down, or perhaps just don't use the feature if its not working for you in this set-up.

Hi nice guide there! I have a problem with my ZV-E1. When i am recording my wife and kid using face recognition, the auto focus will focus on other pedestrians passing by. How do i solve this??

Sony ZV-E10 is one of the best options in my opinion... To be clear this camera is not the ZV-E10, and is the ZV-E1....

hey Jason. i have a Sony HDMI out question. when i use my a7III or ZVE10 or ZVE1 with OBS to stream with a capture card (cam link 4k) in OBS i can only ever output to 59.94 FPS. even if my camera is set to 30 FPS. Do you know why this is? does sony not output 30fps via HDMI?

You should be able to change the HDMI output of the camera if you are not recording internally also. If you recording internally also, it appears like the output settings are based on the movie record settings you are using.
