I was watching just reactions today from some of my favorite songs and thought what the hell let’s see if someone reacts to this and only two people did. Which is so sad because it’s such a good song I listen to it almost daily. I do wish he had recorded it in the booth and released it. Being half Native American and being there I just would love to have this song on my phone all the time.

As an indigenous person (Oglala Lakota), it's amazing to see this done at all. I searched google for honestly... Anyone reacting to the No DAPL video. Yours was the only hit. It really encouraged me to see that you are a black person, because you might have similar hurt towards european colonizers for the way Turtle Island (north america) was handled. IE- Less apologizer bullshit regarding the forced colonization of the US. First impressions aside, what you said about how 'first impressions', and how internet memes need to be thought about.... I really appreciated that. There's a lot, when it comes to being native, that most people (re: most white people) see as 'oh well you get a discount on (taxes, university, housing..... etc) that.... Okay yeah, we do, in -some- places, but that's to counteract the fact that even the gov. acknowledges those as 'our' places, but for being 'ours', we only get a vague discount. white people rock up and gentrify the whole ass area, and price us out completely. Guess we can just go be homeless on our own rez, that's 'cool'. We might get called uppity if we object so... "is that that dude from- Yes. Taboo was in black eyed peas. The other rapper when you were questioning that was 'Drezus'. By they way, the guy who was doing the mid-video chanting, wearing fancy regalia, his artist name is Supaman. He's pretty cool too. "Don't mistake our peace, cuz' we staying defiant" You said 'you guys are not really paying attention to what we're saying, .... which is kinda sad.' I say: 'Yes, exactly. They aren't. Thank you for seeing that. Epilogue: Yep, it is him. You were right. He's one of us. He's one of our cousins. It /is/ sad. The gov. picked the most profitable side when it showed up and decided that yt people were better than ndn people. Fck us I guess. I'm really glad that you actually took your time to listen and express your thoughts on this. You're amazing. I'll be subscribing at this point just because you did this.
