It warms my heart to see younger people getting so much joy from the music I grew up on. The 70's were crazy - every year a piece of music like this was being released.

Bobby Womack played the guitar left handed and upside down like Albert King.He wrote George Benson's huge instrumental hit "Breezin". His other hits include Harry Hippie, A Woman's Gotta Have It, Across 110 Street and That's the way I feel about cha.

I am sixty seven and until a couple of years ago I had never heard Of bobby womack except in amariah carey song where she says bobby womack on the radio. This is my favorite song by him and the other one is that's the way I feel about you. He has a very distinct voice. It's very rough but it's emotional.

MY DUDE ! Up next from BOBBY .. " I Wish He Didn't Trust Me So Much ". He, along with AL GREEN, MARVIN GAYE , and TEDDY PENDERGRASS, were the smoothest ,most soulful singers in the seventies. You GOTTA do some Teddy, you WON'T be disappointed. " Turn Off The Lights ", " Close The Door ", " Love TKO ". Take your pick.................................PEACE !

Oh yeah! More grown folks music from the late great Bobby Womack! Check out "Just Across 110th Street" which was also used in Quentin Tarantino's classic movie "Jackie Brown" starring the sexy and iconic Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson and the late Robert Forrester. I'd highly recommend both. Thanks for this one. Now I need a high ball! LOL

Where on others who are doing reactions videos are focused on simple things and I feel as if they are missing the point of it all. Jay's reactions are like that of those of us who was there during the time when the songs were released reactions was like this as well.

No, he wrote this song after overhearing a conversation with one of the guys in his band talking to his wife on the phone . They was practicing late that night and the wife was complaining about him always being away from home. The band member told his wife if you think you're lonely now wail until tonight then hung up on her . Bobby said to himself WOW that would make for a song and wrote it . I heard Bobby tell the story in an interview on television once
