Awesome recollection. The reason why I hate media so much is solely based on Bob Ryan saying this man D12 should and will never make the Hall of Fame. He was the most dominant big in the league for a 5-7 year period. I was so happy to see him win a championship in 2020 while playing a critical role.

As a life long Raptors fan, I remember watching Orlando Magic Dwight Howard just dominate us back in the mid-late 2000s and there is without question he should be a top 75 player especially over Anthony Davis. Great as a player Dwight was, I think he would have won a title or titles in his prime if he had the right players around him / system or if he was drafted to the right team. The situation makes a big difference on your career. Look at Kobe and Shaq plus they had Phil Jackson, how would their careers have gone if Shaq stayed with the Magic or went to another team other than the Lakers. Look at Lebron never won a title until he joined up with Wade and Bosch plus they had Pat Riley, even his second title win almost didn't happen if not for Ray Allen. I think it takes some luck and a few bad calls going your way at times.
