Just came across this first song of Yours and Let me just say this, for the last few weeks I’ve already been feeling rock bottom, broken, stranded , and out of tears to cry. 7 years and 7 months addicted to pain killers and heroin. I have never had a song hit me the way this one did, exact replication of the way my daughters mother and I fell out, my daughters 7 years old now, I’m a. Functioning addict but the one thing I don’t have is my freedom, freedom to be who I want to be and be the damn best father I can possibly be, this song really just did it, I’m tried of being tired and letting my daughter down when I am sick , I’m out of tears I’m out of everything except for hope… my mom is terminally ill now as well and I’m literally watching her die. Over the last year and it’s destroying me watching it, I put her through hell the last 7 years with my addiction. She’s realistically maybe has a year left and I’m going to make damn sure she gets the peace of mind of me being sober before she goes. finally. I’m going to check myself into a 45 day inpatient detox program in a few days and I’ve never been so scared and excited at the same time . I’m finally there in my mind where I WANT BETTER. Please wish me luck and pray for me through my Journey of mine and please don’t ever stop making amazing music like this . God bless yalll
