I'm surprised that Cyberpunk is so so "low" down with Witcher being 1st. The main story and side stories are just amazing. I would have put Starfield far higher too for the same reasons. But glad that Mass Effect and Yakuza are very high on the list.

Early 90's! Dude. I've remember playing a computer game for the 1st time and it was Pong on my uncles desktop in what... 1981/1982. I could tell you a thing or 2 about watching the Evolution of video games and PC's /Consoles. I've pretty much seen it all and Europe and Japan had the best hardware. From BBC Computers to Atari and IBM's to ZX Spectrum and my personal favourite 16 bit machine The mighty Commodore Amiga! It was a way more exciting time. I do look forward to the future and what we might see soon.

I finally made myself play through the Witcher 3 and I liked it for sure but I for the longest time didn’t care for it when I would attempt to play it

The first time I played it I didn't even leave white orchard before dropping it because it didn't hook me at all. However second time I got past white orchard and once I got to velen and the bloody baren questline I was hooked

Many people who say they can't get into the Witcher 3 just stick with it. It does take a minute to grab you but once it does it does not let go. It took many 2/3 times to get into it including myself and it ended up becoming one of my all time favourite games. You just have to keep going as it becomes such an epic game.

Someone forgot to add the DISHONORED and BIOSHOCK franchises to this list. ;-) Personally, I completely disliked CyberPunk 2077 (this game STILL has game-breaking bugs in it and the city is nothing but an empty facade) and The Witcher (horrible, horrible gameplay in a depressingly bleak world filled with braindead NPCs) and you can't sell me anything from Rockstar Games either (I just hate their game worlds that glorify lowlifes). But Gears of War, yes, I can get behind that one - it's still the main reason to own an Xbox. Alan Wake 1 (NOT 2) and Control were also really great. You could have added AC Odyssey with all its DLCs to the list - Kassandra's life story is frigging amazing and also very moving, especially in the first DLC. Odyssey was the last great AAA title, after that one the AAA industry has only released uninteresting garbage. These days, only remasters like The Thing and indie titles like Citizen Sleeper, Dredge or Baldur's Gate (yes, that one's actually an indie game) are still worth playing.
