Back in around 2001, I got the Lian-Li cube case (probably nobody knows what that is). It was meant for servers, and was basically double the width of a standard ATX case (and held 2 power supplies). It was perfect for the experimental water cooling of the time, I mounted my pump, reservoir, second PSU (for peltiers), and radiator on one half, and the PC components on the other. And yeah, it was heavy…. I really wish I still had it. Never thought Lian-Li would be well known after all these years, it was totally unknown back then.

I appreciate the video, but I kinda wish you read the manual first. There are 3-5 different configurations or options that weren't mentioned at all. For a $500 case, I think the intricacies should be showcased. For instance, did you know you can install 2 200mm fans at the top? Or even run vertical GPU for the main system while still having the option for the itx system below the PCIe slots.
@1.0xY.m0r0n2 жыл бұрын
I've got an 011 XL and I agree that it's overused, but it looks so clean. It's also a dream to build in and being able to fit 3 360mm rads is nice. I'm hoping Lian Li releases an "evo" version of it soon.

I also have one, but I didn't at all enjoy building in it because of cable management. Those HDD cages in the back just get in the way, and I found it a chore to fit everything in that little gap between the side radiator and the HDD cages. I ended up switching to a Phanteks Eclipse P600S so I could use 140mm fans and it was so much more enjoyable to build in.

Those multiple buttons on the top are split for the 2 systems. One can be power/reset for main, the other for the 2nd system, which is why you have 2 headphone jacks and other usb ports. The vertical GPU mount can be put in the bottom area. You missed a lot of tool-less removable features like the 2x bottom trays from the main area, top fan/rad mount and front fan/rad mount. The entire main motherboard area can be removed/rotated. A 58mm thick 480mm radiator with push/pull fans installed at the front, top, and a 480mm at the bottom of the main area can be installed without anything else changed. Then you can get a 480mm 58mm thick rad in the bottom compartment. 24 fans, 4x 480mm radiators, and a reservoir can be mounted easily in a single system.
