i used to curl my lashes everyday and put mascara occasionally but eventually i stopped using mascara completely and only allowed myself to curl my lashes 3 times a month. eventually my lashes were much strong and much healthier. after that i started using lotion and coconut oil on my lashes. now they are so long and thick they look like extensions. btw coconut oil isnt what grows lashes, it just conditions them and eventually promotes lash growth.
